These banana oat pancakes are easily my babies’ favorite baby led weaning friendly breakfast! These pancakes are delicious, healthy, and packed with the protein, iron, and vitamin c that is so important for babies! We aren’t a strictly gluten free family, but I do love that these pancakes feature oats instead of wheat as their base. Oats have so many good vitamins and minerals and are a great source of fiber!
Overall, I don’t have anything but praise for this BLW breakfast. It’s healthy, easy, and yummy. This recipe makes enough for four small pancakes. My babies each eat one full one for breakfast, and then I put two full ones away as leftovers. They keep well in the refrigerator, and I can re-toast them in the toaster oven for another meal.
If you have more kids, or an entire family wanting to eat oat pancakes. you can easily double or triple the recipe. Have fun and enjoy!
