My boys love playing in the water! It is one of our favorite activities in spring and summer. Since it is so important to keep them safe from the sun, here are some of my favorite pieces for UV protection for babies on sunny days.
Sunscreen
I love Badger Active sunscreen for my babies. It has a natural, mineral based ingredient list (Non-Nano Uncoated Zinc Oxide (18.75%) and Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Beeswax, Sunflower Vitamin E, Organic Chamomile Oil, Organic Calendula Flower Extract, Organic Seabuckthorn Fruit Extract.) and is COMPLETELY safe for babies. It works well to prevent sunburn and I have been very happy with it!
Rahsguard Swimsuit
Not only are rash guard swimsuits adorable, they also protect your little one’s arms and bodies from the sun! I love that my boys can easily go from splashing in our baby pool to playing in our backyard without needing a change of clothes.
Sunhat
Honestly, my babies hate wearing sunhats! But if I haven’t had time to put sunblock on them, I try to get them to keep their hats on if we are out in the sun.
Swim Diapers
Swim Diapers are a must if you are planning on water play with a baby who hasn’t been potty trained yet! My boys are each around 18 pounds currently and the Huggies Swim Diapers in Size 3 are a perfect fit!
